Slightly late but the steam platform is coming to macs! It’s only going to be supporting a few games (CS, L4D2 to name a couple). This means macs will now be considered a tier 1 platform, like Windows and Xbox360, so future game will be simultaneously released across all platforms.

Now I can’t say I’m too lazy to reboot my computer to windows to play.
